They came, they played, and they set an example for the rest of the world.
From start to finish, these games proved to be most enjoyable, highly entertaining
and awe-inspiring. Special thanks goes out to Salt Lake City and the United
States of America for giving the world an incredible show that won't soon
be forgotten. Congradulations to all of the 2500+ athletes that competed
so gracefully and with sportsmanship, and also to German and the USA for
their record medal compliments. Lastly, special thanks and congradulations
the athletes from right here in Winnipeg. Well done all. Here now is a
look at some choice moments in the games.
